It is a 16 episode series. Episodes 14-16 were released after the main series, and were on DVD only.

The episodes were placed on disks 5,7, and 8 of the series, so I think that they were intended to watch concurrently with the series, rather than after.

The storytelling in Baccano is so all-over-the-place that I don't think it matters too much when you see them.

(note: I have not yet seen the DVD-only episodes)

The "dvd only" episodes or the OVA's were nice, well the ones I have seen thus far *14 and 15* and it doesn't matter when you watch them I don't think but pay attention to dates so that you don't confuse yourself. But long live BACCANO!

Baccano... sounds like a comedic version of God Fathers + Lupin the Third. ^^

my friends refuse to watch Baccano! because they say it's TOO close to FMA >_>. They didn't even watch the first episode. =P. Oh well. They'll probably watch it in English now that it's licensed.

I am almost saddened by this. To close to full metal? I see the resemblence, but that is all it is. Baccano!>fma

i think baccano is good. but not so many people like it. such as my friend, they said this is too confusing (although i had explained to them chronology and stuff... ) but still, Baccano! is a unique and i dont think it is same with FMA....
