Questions about the anime?

I'm confused about the anime.
And I have alot of questions to ask.

1) Why were Toki's goggles so important to him?
2) Why is Toki in a new world?
3) Why did that creature attack Toki and nobody else?

I wouldn't consider the goggles IMPORTANT for Toki... but a prop that proved that he was home anymore. I mean, it WAS supposed to be just a simulation, right? Remember in the first episode when he took the goggles off there was just plain walls? The goggles were a part of the simulation thing that allowed for users to EXPERIENCE life in the older era. He isn't supposed to be in a different era. He's not supposed to be somewhere where youkai exist and samurai go on chopping sprees... cuz' that just doesn't happen in the 20th century. He lives in the 20th century (or something like that). The fact that the goggles broke but he was still seeing the old era is sort of confusing, right?

The second two questions... you'll have to watch the anime or read the manga and find out. The reason why he's in the new world and why the creature attacked him are kind of linked. Anddddd I've read quite a bit into the manga but still haven't figured out the exact answer for those yet. Or maybe I just wasn't paying attention to what I was reading.

1. it was important to him because he's suppose to know the era of the world. (this is why he failed history).. hmm, and it was a prove that he's home or whatever?

2. idon't really know why. cus i haven't watch the whole thing yet.. only watched all the way to 3 so far. haha
it's probably the creature, nue attacked him in some way.

questing: is it just me, or Bonten is that blonde guy from Toki's memories? The voice sounded similar, and it would explain why Toki was called in this world... Since the guy from his memories disappeared and Bonten is not from Amstsuki, but from the real world... Anybody have a clue?
