my xbox360 runs 12hrs straight @ 32 degree celsius in my room Lol! no aircon, just plain electric fan whenever "i feel" hot! i mean to myself, and not to the xbox 360.

my only problem is, whenever u play huge scale game..u know those real-time loading of GTA IV or AssasinsCreed.. the console gets noisier.

I heard that most of the consoles that had problems were the ones that was made earlier like the 1st year 360 was released. I haven't had any problem with mine since I bought it. The only thing I can complain about it is that the cd drive is way too noisy.

ive had it, my friend had it, and now another one just got it and his is the elite. its been over a yr (maybe 2) but i havent gotten the ring of death again yet. tho, it seems to work shittier and shitter with dvds.
