Member ToukaxMomoka 6927 cr points Send Message: 26 / F / England Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 5/15/08, edited 5/15/08 Totally, for years i dident know what Visual Novels where and yet i did (its complicated i kept on seeing pictures of the same graphics of Visual Novels everywhere) but i couldent look them up cause i dident know the proper name for them i even ASKED people what they was but the ignored me. =_= Also maybe if they was more famous more would get licensed and then people will be able to play the game (and also people might stop complaining about licenses to when the truth is its a life saver.)

I think it's because only a few knows about this kind of games. It's not just the H materials that make it very good but also the story and plot. If it's really good they even make an anime adaption of it ^_^

If i wanted to understand the story, i had to use tool like AGTH with translation tools, and the translation is not really good, but at least a understand a bit >_> Most of the VN have H-scenes, yes >_> but the story is great Even some great anime is adapted from Visual Novel, like Fate/Stay Night, Higurashi, Clannad and much much more ^^ P.S. I'd rather have this under games category, but the chances is slim.. not much people playing VN as much as other games >_>

I'd rather have this under games category, but the chances is slim.. not much people playing VN as much as other games >_> Lucky D: I dont care weather the translations are good or not... i always has trouble setting visual novels and stuff related to it up... the only ones i can play (luckily.. even then..) is doujinshi ones which are translated... direct... and easy to set up. Heck i came to a point where im willing to play them in japanese.

But really, visual novels are a minority. Not too many people know about it, if you compare it to say, Wii, or XBOX, or PS(1,2,3,P). If you want a VN section, you could talk to a Moderator I guess.
