Rusalka (Slavic Mythology ; Eastern Europe and Russia)
Rusalka are water nymph, or mermaid that dwelled in a waterway. According to most traditions, the rusalki were fish-women, who lived at the bottom of rivers. In the middle of the night, they would walk out to the bank and dance in meadows. If they saw handsome men, they would fascinate them with songs and dancing, mesmerise them, then lead the person away to the river floor, to live with them. The stories about rusalki have parallels with the Germanic Nix

Surale (Tatar Mythology; Siberia)
Surale is a forest monster in Tatar mythology. According to legend, Surale lives in forests. He has long fingers, a horn on its forehead, and a woolly body. He kills his victims by luring them to a thicket and then tickling them until they die.

Baykok (Ojibwe Mythology; Minnesota and Great Lakes area)
Baykok is a skeleton-like monster that fly though the forests of the Great Lakes region. The Baykok only preys upon warriors and then devours the liver of its victim.

Ziz (Jewish Mythology)
Ziz s a giant bird said to be large enough to be able to block out the sun with its wingspan. It is considered a giant animal/monster corresponding to archetypal creatures. Some say that the ziz was created to protect all of the birds and that if the ziz did not exist, then all the smaller birds on Earth would be helpless and killed. The Ziz is also an immortal creature that terrified the people that entered its territory and those who killed birds.

Futakuchi-onna (Japanese Mythology)
Futakuchi-onna is a Japanese female monster. They are characterized by their two mouths - a normal one located on her face and second one on the back of the head beneath the hair. There, the woman's skull splits apart forming lips, teeth and a tongue, creating an entirely functional second mouth.
