i have to go to a public school because there isn't any private schools to my liking
also the public high schools around where i live are crappy so i dunno where to go
my teacher asked me on why i dont try hard, (he knows I'm smart enough to get a 4.0 if literally try, what a perv)
I told him that American public schools fail and are obsolete and i told him that
I can play video games and watch animes for hours every day and yet still remain living in school
P.S. I also lied to him that japanese students can go suicidal from the hardness of japan's schools lol (he believed me and he is a history teacher.... DOUBLE FAIL)

EX: Detroit Public Sschool system vs. A medium/small size subberb, however you spell it. the subberb is gonna be better because of the student/teacher ratio

It's not all schools; however the standard of education has severely declined. I graduated in 2000 and at that time, the “No Child Left Behind” Program had not reached our schools here. We were lucky to receive the benefit of a well rounded education in the public schools we attended. Of course, a lot of that is thanks to the instructors having the time and ability to give us their full attention.

However, here in America a teacher that instructs anyone under their college years makes crap for pay. Add that with their frustration from this stupid “No Child Left Behind” policy has teachers at whit’s end ….popping out one idiot after another.

The “No Child Left Behind” policy at the time it was proposed was thought to be fantastic, every child would receive the same attention from teachers, the same education and if a child had problems in any area, than they would be taught in a manner that would keep them with their class and allow them to catch up with the other students….in theory, that is fantastic. In reality, it is complete bull!! Due to the demand on teachers, they are allowing kids who can not read, spell, know geography or even understand basics of English pass on….grade after grade until they are out of high school and dumber than Chit and are now expected to go out and make a life for themselves.

I am completely appalled by the way our educational systems are being run. However, I still believe that not all Americans are stupid. I believe that there are those bright, shining few who can actually write a complete sentence and spell correctly.

Makes my old public high school look like the holy grail of education. I wasn't disappointed with my school. Prepped me well for APs, SATs and college.

this video is totally true. -_- I'm currently in a public school in america right now, and it totally sucks. The people there doesn't pay any attention in class at all, super easy math *the math teacher is actually doing a great job, it's just up to the students if they wanna learn or not* so we're learning at a slow pace, plus, its like a gum world in the classroom. Everyone brings like two packs of gum to school and sell them, which we aren't allow to eat gum during school time, and people just eats them during class. A lot of them has been caught by the teacher, but they just never learns their lesson. ARGH i just wanna change schools so bad, i wanna move back to asia! STUPID AMERICA KIDS WHO DOESN'T WANNA LEARN! *Ok, that message in caps was just probably for my school, and to other kids who acts like my school does. Not to people who actually have the heart to learn*

yup except there are more "dumbasses" in US than ever before

It's because our public schools are shit, but as long as your not stupid than all is well. But when the time comes, some of the kids mature and find out they know nothing. They will learn about what inspires them and lead successful lives.

the problem there are more dumbasses than smartasses,
anyways, more power to smartasses

The last white female old teacher interviewed in the video was a total retard.

"People weren't meant for competition."

That just made me wanna slap her for her stupidity.

Education is corrupt in America, atleast in public schools it is.

So? What can we do about it? Why are we just sitting here and ranting? We should complain to the people in charge. To people who can complain to even bigger people in charge. Complain to your school heads, complain to the government, complain to the news. It may be too late for us, since we're almost completely done with our high school education, and are moving onto college, but it could change for the future generations.

Not in public school anymore, I'm home-schooled. I've learned more than I could have ever dreamed of in public school! I can't quite remember what, but somewhere in the 60's something fucked the public school system. If you can become smart and successful after surviving the public school system, you are an elite! Sure are a lot of Americans who survive it too.
