i honestly love the manga better since i love how night and riiko develop their relationship in spite of the fact of them being different. how night broke it's limits, the incident when was rebooted and sorts of things(he still recognize riiko as his former gf) i also like soushi asamoto's charac in the manga(always teasing riiko but discovers his feelings for his childhood friend upon night's appearance)... and riiko doesn't treat night as a thing though she have confuse feelings bet soushi and night deep inside night is someone she can't give up.

well, as i watch the live action though i kinda like the change of set up (it somehow mix well on the changes) but i also like the original set up of the manga, what i don't like is how riiko treated night. it seems that there is no feelings at all unlike in the manga version with lots of overwelming feelings. no wonder night doesn't remmber her when he was rebooted. bcoz she treats him so bad and never treats him like a person(though i know, he is not a person after all)i am expecting more feeling from them since the manga has lots of emotion that even made me cry and my heart to ache at some scenes when i read it... somehow it's a bit disappointing. i somehow can't help to compare them... hmmm... well, this is just my personal feelings anyway...

but i am watching this via the net... i do hope things will progress with more emotion from the characters.

Actually both the manga AND drama are good, you can't really compare since they're (almost) the same,
but the fact that they're both different, that's whats good about it, surprise is a good thing, in my opinion.

I personally like the drama more.

Yes, I've read the manga, and I adore Yuu Watase, but the drama is much more realistic to me. The manga doesn't take itself very seriously - Watase herself considers it a giant gag comic. I prefer how they made it seem more realistic in the drama.

I've read/seen both the drama and the manga, but I have to say I prefer the drama more because it seems more realistic except for the perfect robot boyfriend part, of course.

The drama is okay...but it's completely different from the manga...Knight in the manga has more of a personality and he geuinely loves Riiko, while Night in the drama so far is as lifeless as a rock
When Knight is kissed by someone else he still remembers Riiko and voluntarily kisses her and reboots himself

..There is just more passion in the manga...more feelings..while the drama feels forced...it seems like Riiko will never like Night. I do like the Soushi in the drama though...Soushi in the manga has a stick up his butt

...I find the riiko in the drama stubborn and unable to make a decision...she flip flops to much, is clueless and I can't take her seriously...she annoys me in general, while the Riiko in the manga is the stereotypical innocent damsel in distress but at least she isn't always whining and complaining...It's almost as if the Riiko in the drama never liked the idea of a robot lover in the first place...in the real world she wouldn't have even woken Night up but she does and then expects him to leave her alone

over all the ending for the manga sucked...it was rushed and hasty...it didn't make sense at all...it left you shocked because it was so out of the blue (and not that "you just won a million dollars"surprise more like a "clown punches a baby" type of surprise). Hopefully they won't do that for the drama...

So basically
Knight (manga): loving, clingy, almost like a curious puppy, a little dumb
Night(drama): a robot with no feelings, no emotions, cold as ice
Soushi (manga: uptight overachiever, the guy the next door that always watches out for her
Soushi (drama):Charismatic, misunderstood, slacker
Riiko (manga): damsel in distress, clutz, innocent, dependant on others
Riiko (drama): stubborn, whiny, clueless, innocent, clingy
