~thank you!^^~ hhhehe... though i hate to say it, but, WWF/ WWE RAW & SMACKDOWN was much better than today WWE shows...T_T they're all messed up!!

..except for those original ones.. the messed up ones i'm atlking about are those who are the"new generation"..
they're just kinda like wannabees who'd make an attitude or something to get attention from the bigger and more experienced WWE stars!!! ...

oih.. why did eddie go?!?! he should've cleaned them up.. haha!xD

Well Eddy passed away after being cleaned up but his heart simply having taken too much damage from using substances. I hope that clears that up because it's not very funny to joke about death, even with WWE's record with it. That's the warning. Do continue to enjoy the forums and post responsibly!

oooh, you got it all wrong, i meant that as like if eddie didn't die, he could've cleaned up these lousy new stars... ok? get the point?? i mean, i wasn't joking about his death.. actually i really got sad when i heard the news...

sorry for misleading you...^^V

Alright, that's fine. Forgiven you are. Just be careful as others sometimes will read what you meant to say in the wrong way.

OK continue enjoying the site! Oh! Lance Storm on his blog at http://www.stormwrestling.com put it best about finishers and guys trying to find them today, as I paraphrase, just about all finishing moves have been done before, mostly created in Japan and Mexico, so it's more about finding one you can do well, getting it over as part of your in ring skills, and it will be cool in due time. Another option is to pick an existing move that hasn't been used in a long time by anyone and use it! I take Jack Swagger (Jake Hager of Oklahoma who was in FCW, now in ECW of the WWE) is using the Blue Thunder Bomb (Back Suplex into a sit out powerbomb). It's not a newly made finisher but since no one uses it in WWE right now it feels fresh. Also he does it well!

ei brock lesnar just got won over Randy Couture in UFC... he's the new heavywieght champ now.. haha just to let you know....^^

brock finally found the tournament where everything is painful and now, for REAL!

Some finishers I think that are "the best"

Pedigree - HHH
Devil's/Hells Gate - Undertaker
Tombstone Piledriver - Undertaker
Stone Cold Stunner - Steve Austin (it's a quick finisher, that's why I like it XD)
RKO - Orton (Just like the Stunner it's quick and requires no carrying, so u can hit a big guy with it)
Swanton Bomb/Five Star Frog Splash - Jeff Hardy/RVD
Shooting Star Press - Evan Bourne (it has a chance of hitting or not hitting, but how Bourne does it is just amazing :D)
GTS Go to Sleep - "Chicago Made" XD (CM) Punk
Trouble in Paradise (540 kick) - Kofi Kingston (it aint very, very strong but it's like the sweet chin music where it can be out of nowhere)
Sweet Chin Music - Shawn Michaels (at anytime...... ;D)
Sharpshooter - Bret Hart
The Pounce - Monty Brown/Marcus Cor Von (idk it's just unique to me)

scary power: Sheamus's Bicycle/Scissor kick to the face (idk wat its called, and i know its not really a finisher, but its still awesome)

old school: Ming/Haku's Tongan Death Grip (so absurd its hilarious!)

real pain: Undertaker's Gogoplata

fav hi-flying finish: Hornswaggle's Tadpole Splash!

my NEW fav finisher is Alberto Del Rio's ARMBAR!
(idk wat hes calling it or if the WWE has given it some kinna corny name like the "Hells Gate" for the gogoplata)

from memory, ever since ive started watching pro wrestling ive never seen the armbar submission hold ever used as a finisher. i know its been around pro wrestling for a while and many wrestlers have used it, but if my memory serves me correctly, ive never seen it used as a finisher. they mainly use it as a 'wear down' hold or something to stall time. but now with Del Rio using it, im very impressed! he can glamorize it by setting the opponent up and flipping him over into it(like he did in 1st televised match with Rey), or he can simply lock it on (like when he attacked ppl outside the ring). i heard somewhere he actually has some MMA experience, so that makes his finisher even more legit. im continually impressed with this Del Rio dude. the WWE better take good care of him....

just to show how long the armbar has been in use, heres a clip of a 1984 IWGP match between Hogan and Inoki. at 2:00 u can actually see Hulk Hogan show some skill and flip Inoki over into a shallow armbar and eventually lock it in deep. who says Hogan cant wrestle? AAAHAHAH! rare footage of Hogan using an actual wrestling hold...

The pounce is oh so sick indeed

Personally, I mark for anything rick rude did (rip) and love his rude awakening from set up to finish.
I also loved the way benoit would set up his crossface, but I always liked perry saturn's rings of saturn even better.
Perry saturn was awesome and ahead of his time.
DDP's diamond cutter was sick too. Not WAY better than an RKO, but it had a bigger feel to it because of the pause for dramatic effect.
The most painful looking has got to go to yokozuna and that corner dropdown sit down splash he would use.

And of all the seemingly painless and useless finishers (AA, 619, or most of the moves the divas pull out of their @sses) I can't help but love Santino's "the Cobra"
