Well , if it's your first car I think it would be best to get something that CONSERVES gas!
Get yourself a little civic, accord, eclipse, sentra, or any little four banger. Don't need anything really off the charts, specially if it's your first car. I'd imagine it would suck getting a lexus or anything else of great value and just hittin a wall or car o-o.

Geo Metro,Mini Cooper, Civic. Great gas mileage, cheap. Nuff ' Said.

whats your budget? if you have some money to spare I would go with a rx7 :)

thats a horrible idea. if he doesnt even know how to pick out a car, he definitely wont be able to maintain a rotary engine.

Thats not true, diff cars come with different stock setups and it also depends on how well the owner maintains it.

I don't know how you can mix those two up.. Car? Hmm.. Talking about skyline, here's one.

State Legal - 1993 Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T - $16,900:

ok, bugest of less than 20,000 get 2008 Mitsubishi lancer. they are cool and they have an average of 30 miles per gallon. thats really good. they cost around 14 to 19 thousand. one of the honda civics is about almost the same for the lancer. 2006 or newer (2006 is coolest though) Scion Xb is almost the same again. And there you go. if you have more of a budget than you have a lot more choices. of course there's more than that though.

You guys crack me up... you guys are retarded if you think you need $20,000+ to by a new car. Umm...nobody pays all cash up front. Its called payment plans.. 99.9% of the world does it. If you can afford the extra $400-500 a month than you can afford any car...
