What do you think of Co-ed Dorm Rooms?
Posted 6/28/08
Well since those college kids are legally adults it doesn't really matter is they're sharing a room with the opposite sex

Huzzah. Well, if the girl was nasty, disgusting, messy, etc., I think I'd mind.

I was forced out of almost every dorm I was in because my slight case of OCD was seriously pissing off every room mate I had, so in the end I was put in co-ed dorm to live with another woman because her habits didn't cause my obsessive behavior to trigger. My OCD is finally under controll so now it really doesn't make any difference who I dorm with anymore. I just live in my own apartment now with a friend that pretty much pays for all the beer.

Its hard to imagine that shared rooms even exist, where i go to college the campus rooms are small but you still get a room to yourself. I mean why not just put in a wall and make it 2 smaller rooms instead of one bigger room?

anyhoo.. i didnt get a place on campus and live downtown in a house.I live with 5 girls and for a while it may of been strange but it doesnt take long to get used to it and soon just becomes normal. Just because you share a room with the opposite sex doesnt automatically mean you are anymore likely to have sex with them, perhaps even decrease you will have sex with them because you know you have to see them every day.

That would be awesome if I live in a dorm while my room mate was a girl.

At least two dozen schools, including Brown University, the University of Pennsylvania, Oberlin College, Clark University and the California Institute of Technology, allow some or all students to share a room with anyone they choose — including someone of the opposite sex. This spring, as students sign up for next year's room, more schools are following suit, including Stanford University.

damn that's crazy, I don't think co-ed is bad. Although it does sometimes create some bad things at times but it's due to those who encourage those bad things. Those that just do what they need to and know what they need to do, getting it done, they might get caught up in the bad thing.

I don't like dorms. I'd prefer to live in an apartment with 2 of my closest friends...
