This is a drawing I made of Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell. Sadly my scanner is broken so I took a photo of it and you can't see it fully though.

I've been wondering..those who draw..have you taken any drawing courses to learn or did you self teach yourself? either that or just started drawing and picked up methods.

i taught myself you just have to keep drawing stuff and you get better

I did that for a while, but i can't draw without having a guide to or a picture to follow. I can't draw if i have to rely on my imagination.

for me, it would depend on the quality i want to produce and how long i have to draw it. for example, if i want a good picture, i will make myself a rough guide and keep adding bits too it. but if i'm doodling, i will draw anything and it would probably come out worse.
