One I noticed as I was watching Sword Art Online (I'm only 9 episodes in, don't judge me!) is Character of the Week episodes. I'm fine with Monster of the Week -- as long as we get some good interaction and development of the cast -- because the monster's just, well, a monster waiting to be killed. With actual characters it's harder to ignore because they aren't just there to roar and get sliced up. If you're going to waste an episode developing a character, at least have them show up frequently, you know? 
Other than that... bad Engrish and random fanservice during would-be serious scenes. Fillers can be annoying depending on how they're executed and when they're aired (like that two-episode one they showed right after Naruto meets Minato), but I've come across enough good ones to know that not all of them are bad.
Oh, also, very young girls falling for guys who could be their older brother. Yes, another one from SAO! |

* Anime that has to narrate what's going on the screen. For example, Naruto, where they are explaining some ninja move, "he's using a shadow possession technique to lock down the enemy!" Well yeah. That's exactly what we are watching. It just shows that they think we are stupid or that their drawings are so bad we cannot understand what's going on.
* Filler.
* Recaps (like Bleach does every episode) in any form.
* Bad translations. I know a bit of Japanese, enough to know when the translation is off sometimes. Do not localize anime.

the only thing I hate about anime is when it is completely different from the manga ot when it ends the ending is like...they need more episodes like vampire knight guilty or skip beat

Obnoxious fan service that detracts and takes you out of the story. For example, gross, jiggling, huge boobs most commonly seen swinging in opposing directions against all reasonable laws of gravity. Yeah, no. |
