What do you hate most when you watch an Anime?
|
Or scared. And you totally dislike the protagonist, even at the end of the series, like Yukiteru Amano from Mirai Nikki. Stupid little kid protagonist who thinks they should save everyone like Kio Asuno from Gundam Age. Or to forgive and live happily ever after with your enemy after they had murdered countless number of people. |

-fillers... sometimes.
on page one, someone mentioned the baker episode of bleach. that is annoying. but if i'm watching a romantic comedy then i really do enjoy fillers. or anything that has romance in it. i would have liked a filler for sao if it was based on asuna x kirito. so basically, i enjoy fillers half the time. -pure ecchi i had some hopes for green green and girls bravo since they're romantic comedies... but in the end i had to try and force myself to finish them just so i can be done with it. i couldn't do it. they were just ecchi. -high amount of deaths a few deaths don't really bother me since it adds to the emotional aspect which is awesome. but when they start killing off characters every other episode in a long series after haven gotten attached to them... just no. -childish moments and acting we've all seen these. makes you feel like you're watching something on disney channel. i recently experienced this in the invisibility potion of fairy tail - and my most hated aspect of some animes, singing. oh how i hate when a character starts singing spontaneously. wth. i feel like a fruit watching it. not that i don't enjoy japanese music but the atmosphere it creates while happening in an anime... just no. example: a bridge to the starry skies during the karaoke scene. or was it fortune arterial... either way that. |

I see a lot of hate on fillers.. I don't really mind them. It isn't true for all fillers, but a lot of them are made because the anime's caught up to the manga too quick and needs time to let the main story get back ahead so they can animate an entire arc without having to stop mid-way.
What I can't stand though? Uhm, inconclusiveness? When you know something should happen, it's been getting setup for ages, the perfect timing comes, and it's like the story just chickens out on it at the least second and they keep the status-quo. It happens a lot in animes where romance is present but not the main theme, as an example. Hate it. |

The same phrases being used over and over again especially in action anime.
Examples: - "Did we win?", "Did we do it?", "Did we kill him?", etc. -- the answer is definitely NO. If you have to ask that, the bad guy is still alive. - "i'll never forgive you." -- I just killed your whole family so if you don't forgive me, it's okay. Really. - "I cannot die yet" -- Yeah, we know you won't die yet especially if you're the protagonist. |
