Its the LACK of change that upsetting me. Since when did democrats what the open border? And most conservatives stands on the opposite side of issues of me. Namely Abortion, and I think the one that ticks me off the most, Stem-Cell Research.

The potential with Fetal Stem cells are huge, yet, ZOMG, its killing another human being. Yea, tell that to the warmongers in Washington.

Some liberals tend to be more earth-minding. I am by no means a tree-hugger. And the Alaskan Oil reserves are pretty much off limits no matter whose in charge. Nothing wrong with a greener Earth. And no That last sentence is far off (although there are some people who have lives worth less then a tree). The usual tax benefits to the lower/middle class is greater when demos are in office.

Frankly my preferred choice is someone who is in the middle. They see the good and bad of both sides and make choices accordingly.

You might want to look a little more into politics, I was somewhat middle, but the democrats right now are just too corrupt. I'll repost in this topic tomorrow but it's real late and I have to be somewhere tomorrow! I'll be looking forward to debating with you if you're up to it! We have oil in the Key West, off the gulf, and off the coast of southern California, they won't let us drill their either. However, china is drilling in the Key West, and some other country is in the gulf drilling. Global warming I'm still researching, but a lot of scientist are saying it's the biggest scam in history.

Actually I shouldn't say I'm very Liberal. I'm near the middle leaning towards liberals. All I have to say in the upcoming election, Obama and Hilary have my vote compared to ..Giulianai(Sp)?

And whew this is over.. NEED TO STUDY, cram, w/e... I hate math

And Global Warming isn't a scam. It won't affect our generation, but scientists can't deny the polar caps melting and the storms are getting worse and worse.

I'm not too sure on the oil drilling issues cause I don't care lol (I don't own a car -_-). But I do know that the Gulf is pretty much almost emptied out.

Yeah, but I want to know why! You just say change, but that isn't a good enough reason.

anarchy seems almost perfecr but know that perfection can only exist in a fairytale.
Anarchy with capitalism will result in social disorder anyhow and what then?
U probaly need a leader to do something about the issue.
I never like discussing system of government because no matter what u chose, there will be loop holes and disorder...that is unless humans are perfect.

Every system of government is perfect in an ideal world without greed and corruption. China has it worse than the US though, I'll give them that, though it won't be long until we're entirely dependent on then and oh how the tables will turn. The general populace will still be out of luck of course, but the US will be in the same boat.

And happyxix - what the hell is with the anger and insults? Some people know english better than others. Personally, I only speak a smattering of a few other languages. There's no way I'd be able to get my point across outside my natvie tounge. And don't blanket insult, it just portrays ignorance and intolerance to all that observe it.

Cause he should at least have the decency to type properly when he is countering my point. He obvious knows English if hes typing in it. He just fails at typing. If he typed half as good as you did, I wouldn't have said anything. Even if he used a translator, at least all the spelling will be correct. Ignorance? No. Intolerance, yes I do intolerant stupidity. So yes.

And he is a disgrace to Chinese people.

If I said the Founding father are dickheads and they suck monkey nuts, wouldn't I be a disgrace to Americans (I'm not one btw)?

Obviously people will get angry when you insult their heritage especially if its from a person of the same one.

He's 14, and it wasn't nearly as indiscernable as you make it to be. He merely used a lot of shorthand and was stingy with capitalization and punctuation. He made some valid points, but you dismissed it out of hand because of the way it was presented. It's a fact that China is more controlling of its news media than the U.S. That's not to say that there is complete freedom in our press, it's just a higher degree.

Were you to say that about the Founding Fathers, you would not be a disgrace to America, as the ability to say that was one of the things they were striving for. Freedom of speach. Freedom from persecution. I'm not a big fan of the Founding Fathers either as historically speaking, as people they were quite fallible. What they did and created however, I cherish most dearly.

14?? I typed like an actual person at 14. So does a lot of others. And the main problem was his abnormal amount of typos and non-coherent fragments. When I quoted him to type, my firefox dictionary was having a field day.

And Presentation is a large amount of the battle. Even if you have valid point and you can't present them in a orderly matter, its worth pretty much nothing. I might be the best suitted person for a job, and if I dress like a bum into a interview, I doubt I'll be heired.

And yes I would be a disgrace to Americans. They have self pride too. To insult the foundations is to insult the thing itself. True, most of them owned slaves, but their achievements are far greater then a small detail of their personal life. I bet if you insult them in a public street, you'll be either pounded or get so many dirty looks you'd think you were standing naked.

And I address most of his issues except one which I can make heads nor tails of. True China controls its media. Most every country do in some way. There are plenty of other ways for me to get information. My main thing is when they bash China just because they are "Communists." In no way does the communism ideology have anything to do with media. So why bring up communism just because the media is censored? Oh my some poor little 14 year old can't get his porn in China. Whoopiee.

I also can't stand people thinking democracy for the wonder that it is. If China turn democratic right now, I assure you, the country is doomed. Freedom gives people giant egos, so they can freely bash other things while thinking the state they live in is perfect.

Ok, honestly, where do you get that from? We insult and disparage our own government far more than anyone else. We've grown lazy and see ourselves as ineffectual, so the only thing left to do is laugh at what our great nation has become. That or get angry at whoever has been elected to head it,.

People in China have every right to criticize communism as they are the result of its failings. Yes, communism is a great idea.. everyone knows that. They, however, have to live with the reality and he was merely pointing out a few of the many flaws in thier system. Communism, in China, has a lot to do with their media, as it is Mao's version of communism that began thier long trek into the constrictions in which they now reside.

From outside our country seems golden. "A chicken in every pot, and a car in every garage." What they don't realise is what it's done to our economy and the turmoil that bubbles beneath the surface. It's coming to a boil. And that's my doomsday thought of the day.
