I don't think you're too old to watch the shows here on Crunchy Roll. While anime is technically a cartoon, I think alot of it is slightly more mature compared to most of what they air here in America.

Regarding dramas, I'd say you're *deffinately* not too old to watch them. I feel it's just like watching the soaps or regular dramas in America, just in another language. Also, considering you (myself and many others, I'm sure; included) are trying to learn the language spoken in the dramas you watch, I say more power to ya. They're great learning tools for pronunciation and comprehension.

Btw, I'm 21. 13 years behind you, but still alot higher on the maturity scale than alot of the members here. Don't feel bad!

What the crap?!

What kind of a question is that?! Of course not!

Nobody's ever too old for something as enjoyable as this. Well, I don't see anything wrong with someone older to support this website. After all, it's a very versatile one so why not?!

I don't see any posts saying that only people of this age should be here so might as well jump on the bandwagon right?

Yes my age is accurate. My wife is only 3 years younger than I am and we both watch anime. Maybe I'm too old for anime in some peoples' opinion but surely people my age watch Chinese dramas which are the other thing we watch.

Still, it seems like almost everyone on here is 20 or younger, so I feel like an old geezer on this site. Maybe just few people my age actually bother to post on the forums or something, or most people my age are lying about their age.

Am I too old for this site?

To watch anime and dramas? Probably not as long as you are taking care of responsibilities and enjoying life away from the tv/pc screen occasionally. I don't think there is anything wrong with watching anime in moderation for an adult, but if you watch too much you obviously have some confused priorities. Hobbies should take a back seat to your family and career.

For the community here? Yes, you are. A year ago you would have done fine when the community was much smaller, but now it's a bottomless pit of adolescent ignorance and blind fanboyism. Decent threads are either spammed to hell with childish 3 word responses and smileys, or are buried under countless threads of none sense.

The only reason I still post here is out of habit, to hang around the half dozen or so decent people that still post, and to just vent frustration by flaming retards. That and most of my academic work involves my computer, so it's really easy for me to troll the forums while doing whatever I need to for school.

Agree with this... mildly i.e "flaming retards" (rude but pretty funny & true) Shibole you're never too old to enjoy good anime/drama. I'm older also but don't deem myself too old for certain threads and what not. No worries man, just enjoy!

I also agree. The number of adolescent members increased rapidly in the last year, but I suppose that's because this started as a college student's side project and grew from there. I suppose it is analogous to Facebook.

I also wanted to mention that this thread brings up an interesting point. What will happen to all of the members who are young now and watching in so many years? At least that's what I thought about myself when I saw this thread topic.
