i know some are going to bash me for mentioning Naruto but, i was just wondering because when i first watched Naruto before it was popular, many people loved it.. and as time goes by, many people jump off the bandwagon because the anime becomes more popular... They start to hate it when many people are liking the anime, even though it is good.. Why is that?

EDIT - I wasn't talking just about Naruto, I was deliberately comparing every anime that people jump off the band wagon.

it is good at the start, but as it goes on, too many fillers, and the plot goes off, way off, though shipuuden delivers a punch but still not good enough

I don't dislike Naruto because of it's popularity. I dislike it because the story and the plot kinda bummed me. Actually, you can predict the plot because the story is already well-known that you can actually know what will happen to Itachi and to some characters. That's me though, I really don't know about you guys.

Naruto was good at first but after 20+ episodes one will notice the repeating fight scenes, too MUCH fillers, and the slow pacing of story. It's really a wonder why many people still watch this show. They are only wasting their lives.

The main reason why there are people insulting popular animes like naruto, i believe is because there are always some fan that has only watches popularised animes(naruto, bleach, dbz etc) and declares it the best at EVERY forum thread .. eg: "which anime has the best action scene?" NARUTO! "which anime has the best love kiss scene?" NARUTO!..after a dozen or so threads it tends to get on people's nerves <_<:

Besides, compared to its inital storyline.. i find the art work and the attention spent on the plot kinda decreasing and the anime continues. Look at how they do their hand-seals now. Whoho, instant handseals everybody! Yeah, i know.. apparently every ninja in the naruto-world just improved amazing in the past 3 years. I kinda miss the flashy quick-whipping multiple seal combos in the beginning of the series.

Because of the overzealous fanbase.... and it's way to long.

most likely english dubs, fans taking things to far.. making people adding tard to w/e anime that applies to the behaivor (narutard), TRYING to make the anime FAR cooler then it is... thanks to CR and other sites i found better substitutes to get me off the bleach & narucrack

Saying it's long is an understatement,it's like spending an eternity in hell with nothing to watch but pointless
stories that has nothing to do with the actual storyline! Hence filler hell was the reason.

And looks like we may be experiencing another sign of fillers in Shippuden.

Because it sucks.

Too many fillers, practically no character development, no astonishing plot (I'm gonna become a leader, so I must get strong), annoying main character ~ who barely is shown, since the show focuses not only on the main character but 5+ other characters.

Boring combat scenes ~ they sort of just copy/paste a lot of the scenes. Predictable as hell and .. *sigh*

Naruto attacks recklessly. Gets owned. Gets pissed off. Owns or the target flees. <--- Takes... 5-10 episodes.

Reminds me of Dragonball -_-

~ Mind, this could be used on a lot of the 'band wagon animes' out there. I lost interest in Bleach for similar reasons, I keep the hell away from other popular animes simply because I see no point in watching 'em.

Jeeze leave her alone she just said other animes not just Naruto, personaly hate fillers Inuyasha, Bleach, and Naruto are examples i sure there are more. I rather an anime get straight to the point rather to procrastinate with pointless fillers.
