I personally prefer pcs (thats windows etc right?) because that is what i have been brought up using and understand the most. However my friends are tech lovers and have proven to me that macs (apple?) are much better. They have better security, are organised better and generally work more efficiently. If i ever have the money and the time i would like to learn how to use one ^-^

I use a PC mainly for the huge gaming catalogue and the fact the hardware is generally cheaper, upgradeable and easier to overclock.

OSX - Best hardware support, best hardware compatiability, and a genuine amazing system.

Windows - http://annoyances.org/exec/show/article09-115

Linux - No limits, near infinite amount of choices when questions are given, so many alternate routes, can run any program, game, etc if you know what you're doing with WINE and the terminal.

well linux still got probs with new games(talking 3D) ..normal 2D works perfect (its driver ussues ..ATI doesnt make the perfect drivers ><..1950gt owner = not a option for me)

ofc..linux is imho the best work station option you can get...(got full crontrol of what the feck is going on)

^you can make your windows to look a like mac..just like linux can have implemented windows in its core(running win on one desktop and linux on a other..you can get that for only 1k $$..isnt that cheap :P)

Macs are good for typing because it uses Microsoft Office : )
PC's only get viruses because of the user...

The mane resone why I like mac's is that you can have two computers in onw now. so wether you like mac or pc can be your choice by buying a mac with that capability. This dosent mean that mac took pc because it abselutly needed it. It was so that pepole whould buy macs. So the profit goes to mac!

You mean Operating System. Windows and OSX are operating systems. Anyway, if you wanted Windows, just get a PC...

Just remeber, I'v already stated that I know OS and Windows are operating systems. I go on my mac more then my pc but ever since i'v been on crunchyroll, I use my pc because the videos load faster.

Well, I prefer a P.C because one, I really never used a MAC but I hear there pretty good for uses like Media, Music and Such.

I would not mind trying MAC though.

I've used both. I prefer Mac for the less amount of laggage and viruses, and the whole iLife suite. I prefer Windows because it's compatible with most programs I used, and I just feel more comfortable running it. Though Mac is making more programs compatible with them now..
for overall quality, I vote for Mac.

When I was really little, like about 4-7, we used a Mac before, and my family really liked. But then somehow the Mac wouldn't work very well, so then we had to get a new computer, which was a PC. We've been using it for years and years, BUT we always had a get a new computer once in a while because of all those bad stuff happening to it. I forgot all about the Mac then, but soon my cousin brought back the Mac in the family, he got an iBook or whatever, which had really cool stuff in it that I really liked, that PCs didn't have. We still have a PC and just last year, my dad bought a MiniMac, which I really really like, but the thing is, sometimes I don't know how to use it, and sometimes it's lagging on me, but that's because there's little RAM in it.

I really like Mac and all, but I need a new Mac...that has lots of RAM to go faster, then I'll really like it a lot more ^-^ . And they need to make more programs for it too, that's another thing I don't like . But I still choose Mac to use, cuz it's fun and cooler, but not enough programs and stuff for it yet, and yet, I still like it.
