I rather do electrolysis to remove it completely
shaving cause can ingrown hairs & waxing can irritate or hurt the skin

I'm a cheap s.o.b so I just use water and a cheap shaver. Creams and gels would only break it.

Since I leave a nice thin beard on, I use an electric trimmer first, then a razor. For the trimmer, your beard's gotta be dry. Wet for the razor. I use gel, it foams very nicely and smells heavenly.

Shaving is baaad. I prefer:

Hair removal cream, leave on for 5 minutes, then scrape off the hairs.
Then I wax for extra smoothness and smoother with Johnson's baby oil which helps skin heel after having hairs pulled out and leaves me as soft as a....soft cuddly thing...just soft m'kay...
