what issues do you have with your country?

I live in finand, its ok but its so... tiny
It just feels so cut off from the rest of the world, easiest places to get to are Denmark, sweden and estonia... and theyre kinda the same hehe.

I miss central europe, so many nice old buildings, a lot of (cheaper) stores, a lot of history too.

but Northern Europe is awesome! *I* want to go to Finland and the rest of Northern Europe..as well as Scotland. Longer hours of nighttime would be very cool. And my teacher told me that Iceland is the safest place in the world..and the Scandinavian peninsula is the homeland to some pretty interesting bands. (btw, I was having an argument with my friend. Would you consider Finland a part of Scandinavia or not?) Scotland and Ireland for the medieval architecture, scenery, and Celtic culture. And I'd like to learn Finnish and Gaelic mainly for bragging purposes. No, but they sound interesting.
Canada can be uber boring. The only interesting places are Toronto, Montreal, Niagara/-on-the-Lake, and possibly Vancover. For the rest of it, think snow, beavers, lack of urbanization, and cheeese.

And going back to the topic, Australia would be nice too. It seems like Europe with nice weather all year long. (though I like snow..)

To answer the scandinavia question, no its not really a part of scandinavia, though i wouldnt mind it being considerred a part of it. When talking about Finland along with sweden, norway etc, theyre collectively refferred to as the nordic countries.

And the long nights are really a pain in the ass after a while. Im dying for some sunlight here!

I live in Melbourne. To the people who are planning a trip here, as well as the shopping other people have mentioned, don't forget Melbourne Zoo and Healesville Sanctuary, which have heaps of native animals like koalas, kangaroos, frogs you name it we've got it. I have lived in this city most of my life, and I never want to move.
