I've played it. It's a pretty good game actually.
but unlike Oblivion. Cuz Oblivion is sooo addicting.

ok we get it games section im puttng the next person to say it as spam.

and oblivion isnt even in the same catagory. WoD is a pen and paper rpg which had an obscure computer game like 7 years ago. oblivion is a sequel to the elder scrolls series.
if you actually want to play WoD try here. great running 24 hour game original-sin.net

Without going into details yeah, Masquerade had serious problems, even setting aside how I didn't like it's "high power" setting, mainly because players always felt like they're being blindly manipulated at every corner thanks to Jyhad and already mentioned insanely powerful elders pulling the strings. But it really was awesome when you consider how detailed and immersing it ended up anyway (numerous supplements did a great job completing already gruesome and dark setting). Masquerade was my favorite, but I gotta say Demon: The Fallen came pretty close to it.

Anyway, Requiem is shaping up nicely with it's own books (along with nWoD as a matter a fact) and I personally cant wait for announced WoD MMO.

requiem is the most balanced so far. and demon was great but was half assed in the rules. it needed major mechanics fixed and the races/types/whatever were badly done but it had a great background.

so far my fav is vampire. and the game has gotten so fun lately

True, but I never had problems with rules because either myself or my players would usually make our own homemade rules to substitute for unfinished or missing ones in the 1st place. What I like about Demon is it's theme along with how abstract and different it is from other game lines (I guess Mummy also qualifies into this category, but I was never that attracted to Egypt and it's ancient traditions so it didn't really peak my interest). Also, powers aka. Lores your fallen angels had really felt primordial, so unlike vampire's Disciplines with it quite one-direction purposes.

btw. did you play Wraith: the Oblivion by any chance? I've always wondered why people reacted so... badly, in the lack of better word, to it. Was it because of it's theme or because of it's rules? Any clues on this?

Oh yeah, Changeling... that's one odd game. I never really got into it (well, old Changeling - haven't yet tried the new one) because of it's somewhat lighter theme compared to other WoD games.

btw. since you have experience with both Vampire and Werewolf game lines: how do you handle Werewolf social aspect outside of your Pack? I've always felt compelled to execute that part of both games the same, don't know why really. Anyway, 90% of Werewolf games, ones I was in at least, never really explored spiritual side of the game but instead always focused on pure combat so that may be my main reason why I never was a fan of it.

Yeah, but I was wondering how do you make your Sept or Pack meetings different from, let's say, Camarilla's Conclaves or other Elysium meetings? It always boiled down to a same thing for me - social characters do their verbal duels/plot hooks are presented while other characters just wait and nod.
