Don't worry, if something like that should happen, efforts to determine your blood type would be done immediately. In the event that your type can not be confirmed, you'd probably be most likely transfused with O- blood.

O_o Thank God! I just hope that I wrote the correct blood type on all those forms I encountered over the past years. My mom isn't also sure about mine and I still ask her O_o

Since someone said they were a little interested in personalities based on blood type, here is something that I found on my friend's website that differentiates each of them. Since they are photos of the text and my concern is to save space, I'll put each of them in a spoiler box in which you all can muse at them in your own time.

Blood Types O, A, B, AB
Description: In a nutshell, Basic Behavior

Blood Types O, A, B, AB
Description: Tolerance, How do they see their future and past?

Blood Types O, A, B, AB
Description: How does they express their emotions?

Blood Types O, A, B, AB
Description: How do they work?

Alot of that is right on with me... I never knew one's traits can be also determined by blood.

interesting... I didn't know my blood type before, but now according to this I'm perfectly convinced I'm O. yay! I like O's the best

Haha, you'd be surprised by the sheer amount of people who really just don't know they're own blood type or they remember incorrectly. To account for most of human error, you have people in the hospital labs or blood transfusion services (i.e. blood banks) to verify what blood grouping you actually are. It's heavily regulated area of the laboratory because everyone wants to ensure a safe blood product that is compatible to the patient. Confirmation of blood type wouldn't be solely based on the patient's word, but more on the actual results that the clinical lab techs get.

Again, don't worry about the chance of being incorrect about your own blood type because they'd check regardless of what you said.

*sigh* Thanks. Now I can rest easy whenever I get into an accident. Are you a nurse, doctor or student of the two aforementioned professions? O_o

Haha, I am a student but I attend a medical college for the clinical lab program which deals with aspects such as blood transfusion and the like. And aw, you quoted me before I changed the most integral part of my post in which confirmation of blood type wouldn't be based solely on patient's say so. I had worded it differently and forgot to change it.

In any rate, I always found personality types based on blood groupings to be really fascinating, but the generalizations obviously don't apply to everyone. Not wanting to delve into the aspect of social and behavioral psychology, just know that there are always circumstances and situations that someone can undergo which makes them completely different from the typical profile of that blood type.

I may have to switch blood group according to the table (LOL). I'm more of a blood group A from what it describes. Btw, my real blood grp is O.

The same applies for Horoscopes and Chinese Zodiac readings. We are all different but it is entertaining to read things such as these comics. But I do find it surprising when materials such as these confirm what the creator think is true. -_-
