skip beat is already an anime!!

It is, but it barely covers the manga. It only shows the beginning of skip beat, and trust me there is a hell lot more.

Gamaran. Although I'm pretty sure it will get one, because of it's popularity and easiness to adapt into an anime (it's action). Also, it's at the height of it's final arc.

also

Pysren. Already finished, and could also be easily adapted into an anime. Again, it is action.

By "easiness to adapt into an anime" I mean how much extra work and plot the animators and director would have to cover.

Something like Yotsuba& was not adapted because, although it was popular, it wasn't adapted because the 4koma manga style would have beedn too hard to adapt. They would have had to find a way to make all the scenes fit together, then somehow make it have a coherent storyline. I don't think mny people would want to watch something which has new plot material every minute, which is completely unrelatd to the previous scene.

Action is probably the easiest to adapt, because you don't really have to worry about continuity, and you just have to work on making the fight scenes look cool and smooth. Even the action scenes are already there for you. Also, much of the characterisation in action mangas is very simple, e.g. Goku just fighting to protect everyone. Because of this, unlike in Romance or Drama, you have a lot less to worry about in dialogue and colour scheme.

Azumanga Daioh was a 4koma and look how well that turned out.
And actually, Yotsuba isn't in 4koma style. It has full page.

Now that you mention it, yes, it does. My bad. -___-

But it doesn't change the fact that the storyline is incoherent throughout most of the chapters. The mangaka also agreed that it was not something that would do well with an anime adaption. And in Azumanga, the 4koma strips related to the previous one, most of the time.
