Dogs: Bullets & Carnage! The mangaka's style is so sleek and fantastic, it would be great to see it animated. (but I hope they maintain the monochromatic feel of the manga tho, it helps a great deal in building the mood)

I'd agree, but the OVAs they did were kind of strange. I'm afraid if they did it they'd weigh too heavily on the comedy and unbalance how brutally serious the rest of the story is. As long as that doesn't happen, though, hell yeah!

Acck the OVAs were horrible in retrospect tbh. I really want them to make a remake and like preserve the awesomeness (both brutality and comedy included) that is this manga!!! Wouldn't it be epic if they animate the manga and maintain the black and white colors??? gahh that would be legendary

That would be absolutely amazing.

It'd remind me of Renaissance except even more awesome.

Let me change the question to: Which manga do I think should be adapted into anime - and still be good?

My answer: Brave Story. Wataru is one of the best heroes I've seen, ever.

What he said. They totally f***ed everything up when they made that anime. I love the manga, the anime is meh.

Heh, it's the only anime in existence that has made me feel total rage over the whole thing. With the manga I really like about how it's been becoming less and less about being a harem lovecom with Season 2. Oh and the fact that Tsukune is actually relevant to the plot. Hell he seems to be the most important one actually.

Yeah, and I love how to story has gotten darker and darker. It's like he has to remind himself that it is a ecchi, harem sometimes. I can't wait for his next series, what ever that may be, because he has evolved so much as a mangaka. I believe he has found what he wants to wright and that in Rosario Vampire he was trying to find that. <--- Don't know if this is true but I think so.

Still we have a while left of Rosario Vampire and it will be fun to see how it turns out.

And not to mention how the comedy bits here and there amidst all the seriousness don't feel awkward or forced to me, a lot like in the old Dragonball. And I'll have to agree with how Ikeda has developed as an artist and a storyteller during this series, especially when you compare old and new volumes.

Jupp, I can't read the first season. Every time I think about it and pick up the first volume I just go. "Nej, det här ser ju hemskt ut. lol" then I put it down and slowly walk away.

I read it through once in a while. Mostly to see how characters used to be a lot different in the old R+V. Like Kurumu who was nothing but an excuse to throw in boobage in the series. Or Mizore who was just a punchline for stalker jokes. And then at some point they evolved from fanservice and became characters. Doesn't happen that much in the anime.

I like the friendship between the two. It's probably the most enjoyable to read about. I love how she calls her Bazooka Girl. Ah... gets me every time.

Yeah I really like the Kurumu/Mizore dynamic, especially when they introduce the Black and White Duets, where they combine their strengths for pretty awesome moves. Also I liked how FangFang, who was a failure as a summoner which also got him made fun of, proved to be quite a martial artist in the end. Also the moment with him and the head of the Miao family = mantears.
