Sweet Symphony

Confusion swarms
My thoughts in my head
Confused and neglected
Eyes burnin from the tears
I escape to a place
I wish it would rain
The clouds so dark
Hangin over the city
The woods so invited
Come let me disappear
I slide on the dirt
Holdin on for dear life
My skin is numb
I dont know where i am
As i lay back in the grass
Wishing for rain
Wishing to forget
But the rain will not fall
Though my tears will not stop
My rage lays to rest
Consumed in my fears
I sit up and wait
Wait for it to come
But it does not come
And the feeling returns
My skin begins to cool
My smile returns for a mere second
As i swat at the bugs
That only try to look me in the eye
The wind continues to blow
The sweet sound of my music
lost in the serenity
My tears slowly cease
My heart slows it's pace
I can hear the sweet melody
As God instructs the orchestra
The melody so soft
It's lost in a whisper
as i sit there and listen
the world disappears
and i remember the truth
I will survive this
I always do
The pain will guide me
And make me stronger
So thank you sweet life
The orchestra plays
I will listen now to it's sweet melody it plays
The melody is not happy
nor even sad
it's the melody of life
it's ending never found
So when you need some strength or a friend
Just listen to the melody it never fails to be found.
