I actually think that Mando is really hard to learn for me, though i'm not learning it now. My mom taught me a phrase in Mando and it was so hard to say and everything. I've only watched one HK drama, mostly cuz i can't find many good ones.

I've only ever found one HK drama on here and it was Golden Faith.
It didn't have subs though, i kinda need them cuz I dont understand
like all Cantonese like my parents.
Mando sentences seem longer so maybe thats why I find it hard.

I plan to learn Cantonese after learning Mandarin. I never would have thought 2 more tones than Mandarin would make such a difference. But, nonetheless, I like the way Cantonese sounds. Some people don't seem to like it because they think Japanese is better. Which I'm the opposite, Japanese is annoying to me.

Well what I mean by mando is longer is that well maybe its just with this phrase
In cantonese "I am hungry" is shorter than " I am hungry" in Mando, but I dont really know cuz
I dont speak mando so maybe i'm mistaken.
Haha subs helped me read faster. haha, I mean if they're in English.
I found out about Golden Faith while my parents were watching Chinese TV
I was like :O seems so interesting

i speak Cantonese...... Dont even talk to me about Mandarin. To put as nicely as possible, I don't like the language (Mandarin) that is all.

I don't speak Cantonese and I don't even understand a thing about it.
So it's probably weird for me to hear Cantonese.

Honestly, Vietnamese and Cantonese sounds VERY different! Viet sounds like how racist pricks mock our language. Also, I really hate Cantonese spoken by Viets coz it sounds ugly wid their vietnamese accent, u get me?
