Cancer is a scary thing
it is realy small, the exact same size as a cell
becasue it actualy it is a cell, a mutated one
and it duplicates like crazy, so if you leave one behind when you remove a tumor, you will still have cancer
and when a mutated cell travels to your brain or your heart, you die
its like having nanobots destroy your body

I didn't take the time to read the other posts, so bear with me.

May have been repeated, but it might be because people associate cancer with death. It's not hard with the general media; they're installing some kind of fear or another. Remember SARs? Or the recent overrated swine flu? Well, I suppose cancer's just that: overrated crap.
Maybe it's because cancer's been along so long and they haven't found a cure for it. Quite like AIDs, but not as long.
And maybe it's because cancer's so widespread and supposedly devastating. Like murders and rapists.

I've personally never seen the kind of secretary surrounding cancer. I don't actually care for it much. And I don't care as to what all you politically correct people say, but I don't want to find a cure for it.

Not all cancer is bad....

On board a flight to Hawaii, the pilot announced, "That thump you heard was our last engine conking out. I'm really sorry to tell you this, but we are going to crash into the ocean."

In the stunned silence that followed, an angry voice spoke out. "Dammit! That stupid doctor of mine! He said I was going to die of cancer."

"He lied!"

Your views might be admirable but not everyone does share your opinions. It's better to be sensitive and careful of other's feelings than to act arrogant.

The idea of you have to a slow horrible death scares off alot of people, including me. Someone I know had lung cancer, and watchin him suffer from the side was torturing. And he eventually died, not from cancer, but a car accident.

I have no problem with making jokes about cancer, though I don't really find them funny. They can joke the whole day if they want to, but don't call it karma if they get cancer.

Well if you live long enough you will get cancer. The human body was really only designed to hit 30, 40 tops, yet we're pushing it to 70-90 these days, so naturally something's gonna happen, so eventually a cell or 2 is going to get screwed up and become unable to properly restore itself and thus it become cancerous, bound to happen if you live long enough. Not much you can about it lol.

I don't see the problem joking about cancer, no big deal, not like the earth is going to explode if you joke about cancer lol, joke about it if you want to.
