It will likely be another month or two before the next Kairosoft game gets translated. I'm hoping to see English versions of the company's abstract business simulation games Anime Studio and Comic Highway Story in the near future.

Hakuouki was a great move in the direction, but seriously, Im dying for MORE.
If the sales numbers on VGChartz are accurate, then the localized version of Hakuouki has sold over 58000 copies. (Here's the exact link: www.vgchartz.com/game/65620/hakuoki-demon-of-the-fleeting-blossom/Global/ .) I'm not sure if that's a success for a niche product on a system that few companies currently consider finally viable. Perhaps we'll see a localization announcement during Anime Expo 2012, or maybe E3 2012.
Until then, don't forget to support fans' works. For instance, if you see a currently ongoing fan translation and want to support it, be sure to ask what you can do to help. Two of the most relevant forums for this are My Neoromance and GBATemp (where the now-finished Tokimemo Girls Side and Otometeki projects got started). Also, don't neglect to support independent creators. Several groups such as Hanako Games, Zeiva Inc, Super Six-Three, and Winter Wolves are selling their romance games for computers. About half of what they've made so far can be accurately described as western otome games.
