Not necessarily true, there are many animes that dont have a manga and vice versa, for example Myself ;Yourself, thats an anime but there is no manga.

and as for the Manga VS. Anime, it all depends. It depends on the quality of the anime/manga and most of all it depends on the plotline XD

i think both are essential....anime usually derives from the manga........but anime can suck compared to the manga....and sometimes the anime is better than the manga......sometimes(rarely)

I usually find myself reading more manga than ever really watching anime. But I'm just a book loving freak, I used to hang out at libraries because of that...... man I'm a loser lol
