if the guy is straight he can wear whatever he wants, pierce whatever he wants . now if he was homophobic and was scared people thought he was gay he would worry about what ear to pierce .
it basically boils down to guys being metro sexual . if the man looks good in it let him wear it, i think guys with tattoos and piercings look damn smexy and confident . now a guy with just 1 lonely earring .... now that looks kind of weird ... i mean if u got one done do the other, do 4 more while your at it !
i prefer guys who take care of their appearance everyday like they are due to go onto the red carpet at any moment, as to guys who resemble farmers ...

To be honest the only reason people may think its "gay" for a guy to have an earring is because that is what society/the media has labeled it as. In my opinion I think that piercing is apart of body art, self expression or style, no one should be labeled as anything just because they have a piercing. Body art is sexy!

I agree that some guys can pull it off (more power to them!) but it is definitely not a trend for everyone of the male gender. Also, I personally think that ear plugs are SO gross, no matter who they are on...

It all depends if it looks alright on them.
I'm not really fond of those obnoxious large gem studs
on their ears or those creepy ear plugs.
Maybe a small subtle stud or a hoop is fine.

As not as it's not something that looks similar to any pairs of earrings I have,
I'm pretty much okay with it. Hahah.
Like. . . the usual circle earrings.
And even Jaejoong's cross earrings are cute<3.

It depends on the person. When I first heard about guys getting earrings I thought it was the gayest thing ever. Now I'm ok with it. But I still don't like gadges. They look weird.
