Yeah he did. The creator said so himself that Lelouch is INDEED dead. That person at the end driving the cart is NOT Lelouch.
http://forums.narutofan.com/showthread.php?t=437397 Read the quote the Okouchi said so himself that Lelouch IS DEAD.

a anime is a fake would made from the minds of human and because of that fact.
I can say he is not dead and take little bit from the anime here and their and change it to fit what i wont it to be.

Lelouch father killed the other immortal witch so he became immortal as we already know.
Was it not Lelouch who killed his father so he should have gotten the immortal curse of being a witch.

Then theirs the fact you did not see the driver at the end and C.C. seemed to be talking to him as well as,
even what she said about not being lonely point out the fact those two was together know.

this is enough to make it where i can change the ending to my liking.
Unlike a anime like Chrono Crusade where theirs no way to change the ending,
since the ending is very clear and straight forward,

I can see what you're getting at that YOU want to believe that Lelouch is not dead. But that is only your own thoughts and it is NOT a fact but which mine IS a fact because the creator said so himself that he is indeed dead. The scene in which C.C. is talking "to Lelouch" most likely was her talking to herself. Besides if he DID NOT die that would completely ruin that "sweet and beautiful" ending in which he brought upon all the hatred upon himself and took it with him to his grave. I'm not trying to force you to change what you believe but when you quote my post and said he isn't dead you were trying to force your views onto mine.I'm fine with you thinking what you will but I'm not fine with the fact that you told me he isn't dead and tried to support that saying that that is "enough to make it where I can change the ending to my liking" You stated that you CHANGED it and just because you changed it doesn't mean it's true.

just because some one create a anime does not mean ti real either.

You miss my entire point, because anime is not only fake the story lien ti self but it also with drawing and no real people.
so in the end you can change any thing you like in it.
To fit what you believe it should be.
When some one comes up with a story others will read it and as time go on the story will change because others changes it over time.
Of course the ori story is still their however thousands of adaptation have toking place.
So know from one story you have thousands of different ways to tell it. That is how the story's of this world work after all their is only really 15 basic story lines in which every single other story. Is only a copy of them with things in them change to make so new story cane come about even through no madder how hard you try your story will always follow one of the 15 basic story guide lines.
So my point is this is how story works their is no one way to tell a story a story is not a fact. A story is something that is either forgotten about or change over time, so my version of a story is no less of the truth to the story as another version is. since in the end.
That is all stories are how they work.

You state that there are "thousands of different versions" of Code Geass. NO. It is true that stories change over time because they are passed down ORALLY. As time passed books have been invented and also the internet has been invented to prevent the "changing over time" because you can see it and it is right there. Just because you see someone that "kinda looks like Lelouch" is driving the cart does NOT mean that it is him. The CREATOR of the anime DID NOT intend that to be Lelouch. Sure you could look at it your own way but that does not mean it is "the truth". I'd say that Lelouch being dead makes much more of a reasonable statement because it is backed up by the creator. The creator CREATED the series and he says that he is dead, I'd say that means he is dead.

You also bring up an interesting point that it is a fake story. Aren't ALL animes "fake stories." I'd say that anything an AUTHOR created is fake. You also said that a story changes over time and is either forgotten or changed. Yet... Earlier you stated that a story such as Chrono Crusade does not allow for changing because it is crude and straightforward. Stories are made up things and they may be fake however, that does not mean that it allows for lenience for interpreting it to change it to your liking. Wars have happened over time and many governments have masked over the true facts of it and currently the genocide in Darfur, the government is masking up the fact that there is indeed a genocide occurring. THE ORIGINAL IS THE TRUTH. The original in this case being that Lelouch is dead.

I agree with you 'Eminent Faith'. I'm tired of people stating that the cart driver is infact Lelouch, when it is clearly NOT what the authour intended, therefore ISN'T him. Personally, yes, i found his death sad and tragic, but that doesn't mean that you can just blindly ignore the fact that he died because you don't want to accept it, and pretend that he's a guy in a later scene riding a cart, just because we can't see his face.... *breaths* XD Sorry, but the whole issue is just really irritating me. And so, i agree with you, and thank you for being an unignorant person! Welldone you =)

first looke at romeo and Juliet yes we still have teh ori ver of it however their still thousands of different versions that been made off of it.

second the crone crusader i said it wrong i meant how it ends with out changing other stuff in it first you could not change it however with code grease it possible to not change any thing with what happened in it already and make ti seem like he alive.
This is what i meant.

Once again their is no truth to any story even history which is fact is not fact because humans have change it.
a author makes a story then other changes it.

stories which or perfectly recorded down or still change later on of course the ori vs is kept however they make new stories off of the old one keep the basic story line but change a lot in it.

Code Geass S2 - Lelouch/Zero

he did not die

The original in this case being that Lelouch is dead.

first looke at romeo and Juliet yes we still have teh ori ver of it however their still thousands of different versions that been made off of it.

second the crone crusader i said it wrong i meant how it ends with out changing other stuff in it first you could not change it however with code grease it possible to not change any thing with what happened in it already and make ti seem like he alive.

You're just reinforcing the same point again... Sure, I agree that many new versions of things are made and that stories do change over time however, that means that there has to have been an original that it was based off of. Since the original was used to create the new version I think that would mean that the original is what actually happened. The original would be that Lelouch is dead and the man driving the cart at the end of the show was not Lelouch. (This was backed up by official statement) The "new/changed" version or what you are saying is that the man driving the cart at the end IS Lelouch... This is a distorted image that you have engraved into your mind. You are pretty much just deliberately looking away from the fact that he is dead and saying that he is alive BECAUSE YOU WANT HIM TO BE. Just because you would like Lelouch to still be alive does not mean that he is, just because you refuse to admit that he is dead does not change the fact that he died.

Anyways I'm done arguing this... Please don't quote me about this again, even if you do I will not reply anymore.
