There's also a HK movie that has a very very similar story line to 50 first dates, but i think its better and its funnier (for someone who likes HK humor because it can be kind of cheesy or exaggerated sometimes).

Honestly, I think Korean movies do romance stories right. Like the stories are super original, but they are always fresh.

Well, those are the release dates, but i guess it depends on when the movies all started filming.

A Moment to Remember is a 2004 South Korean movie based on a 2001 Japanese television drama Pure Soul broadcasted by Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation. The movie was officially released on November 5, 2004 in South Korea.

The Notebook was Good
50 First Dates was Okay
A Moment to Remember was Amazing

I think the Koreans Executed this better, all in all.

i doubt it because they were all realesed the same year a few months apart
so i don't think they'd know the other movie before it came out.

it might have been a coincidence that they had the same idea of a story..
or..now that i think about it..
the idea could've been from the notebook...
but its not exactly the same so it has its own points..^_^
