What God does to those who have been rejected!!!!

One of the most intriguing and tragic stories in the bible is the scandal over the wives of Jacob.
According to the records of Moses, Jacob worked seven years for Rachael but was given her older sister Leah instead, after a promise of labour for seven more years, Jacob is swindled into working double in the original deal for Rachael. So Leah becomes the unloved wife of Jacob, she becomes the rejected of Israel. It would be this woman that was victimised by the culture of men through which God would bring the line of the Messiah. The scriptures reads in Genesis 29:31 which says “when the lord saw that Leah was not loved, he opened her womb, but Rachel was baron.”

The bible is profoundly loud of this theme over and over again, what the mind of man rejects, God always accepts, what the culture of man despises the kingdom of God blesses. Leah becomes the lost Love of Jacob but found the love of God, from the womb of Leah would come the blessed Levi, the very seed of the priest of Israel, the seed of the tribe of Judah that would be born a child of Leah. It would be her fourth child now. Genesis 29:35 says “she conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said “this time I will praise the Lord.” so she named him Judah then she stopped having children”.

This tribe Judah would be the very child were the earthly parents of Jesus would descends from, the son of the rejected woman, the banner of Judah, the lost love of Israel is the very tribe that would be the messianic line, that is why it is said in Psalm 78:67-68 moreover “then he rejected the tents of Joseph, he did not choose the tribe of Ephraim; but he chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which he loved.

so if you ever feel unloved or rejected remeber God loves you and cares for you, you are the very reason he sent Christ With the Kingdom to restore you and the rest of humanity to Himself and to our original selves.

Good bless :D

haha, I could start a separate thread on the different ways I have been rejected, rather that of school, society, even in relationships, or rather lack there of lol.

I would like to commend you on the verses, they suit your topic justly, however I would recommend Romans 11 as well. A great read, and would suit this thread well.

Listen to Romans 11 online @-

Wow that's really cool. I've never been rejected by a boy but I sometimes feel out of place with friends at school and such. Thanks a bunch, that really helps.
