please give some reasons for your favorites

i'll start!

i first got into anime in high school. the very first anime i really liked was kenshin. the fights were awesome, the characters were deeply developed, and the music was great! the OVAs are really good too, but so depressing :(

ghost in the shell (the movie) was the first sci-fi thriller i loved. it's like the matrix!!! pretty brutal though.

i'm currently watching bleach and blood+. i've been too busy lately to watch new ones, so lemme know what's good!

i'm all about the action, Bakuretsu Tenshi has a decent mix of mecha and ladies. go girl power!

of course Cowboy Bebop is still my fav. i'm totally in luv w/ Spike!

omg elfin lied is the best... so sad!

Tenjou Tenge is a pretty sweet anime cause of it's fighting and the almost nudity but not quite ahah

Naruto and Bleach, but I like Naruto more than bleach because Naruto's character have more....personality? I guess? That and all through the rescue arch in Bleach it was kind of a repetitive "Rawr rawr rawr ima kill u, o wait u beet me now ima join u"

I liked the story and how unusual it was as well as how the characters were developed.

Ummm.. The first anime I saw was also kenshin.I like a lot of animes!Right now im watching Naruto,Bleach,Elfen Lied,Kiba,and a lot more. I really have extra time.:P Ummm.... I really don't have a favorite anime.I guess im ganna strart seeing these anime you guys like since im kind of the only person in my family that likes anime. I probably have a lot of extra time since im in middle school. Hope to see more stuff an animes from you guys.

I m currently watching Bleach as well. However I've ben seeing The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Ouran Highschool (it's impressive the influence people have on me). And yeah they are absolute crack. If you like highschool comedies they are pretty good. I plan on watching XXXholic and Blood+ once Im done though.
I've also heard great things about an anime called Gankutsuou.

oh yeah i absolutely loved melancholy of haruhi suzumiya! the writer is a genius

i just finished watching melancholy of haruhi suzumiya and am currently watching kimi ga nozomu eien, but for all those who want something different, (and since this is a recommended anime post) i suggest you watch FLCL if you can
