Angel Beats! one of VERY few anime to ever make me cry.. Like....full on cry. Because deep down...we all want to find our happiness, and I suppose that one just hit me very personally. Puella Magi Madoka Magica When I first saw this one, it had fan subs, and nobody really knew it so I had no idea what the hell to expect... the beginning was slow but once it all truly started I was hooked. I think I found certain scenes incredibly touching <Super spoilers> Spoiler Alert! Click to show or hide Kyoko sacrificing herself so Sayaka wouldn't have to die alone. Homu living her entire life for the happiness of another, mami never truly being able to be happy until the very end... . All of it together made a really well written anime I felt, with an amazing story, beautiful (if not twisted) art work, and characters that I grew to love or hate for good reasons. Elfen Lied Once again, just a very well written anime, just the right balance of cute, action, sadness, and it all comes together to make a masterpiece.
