My favorite sport anime, is Kuroko's basketball, my favorite comedy is Gintama, my favorite Tournament is Btooom, Action/Adventure is Blue Exorcist, and Romance (i just started watching) is Say "I love you".

Personally, I love Clannad even though it's so depressing in the second season.
But the music, characters, and story(even though the girl with the robotic doll is confusing until the end) make it my top Anime.
I've seen a bunch of great Anime, but Clannad just knocked them out of the ballpark |

Favorite anime: Persona 4 The Animation. Why? Because Persona 4 is an amazing game, and for the most part the adaption stayed true to it. That, and I'm an Atlus fan. They ARE one of my favorite game companies, after all.
Runner up? Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. It's just so mindblowing and it'll have you wondering what the heck is going on until the end.
But other favorites of mine would be Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?, Seitokai no Ichizon, the newly aired Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai, and of course Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou.
...compared to everyone else on this page, mine are pretty obscere I see. o.o

Gintama is my personal favorite! It's the funniest anime I've ever watched, completely unpredictable and very original. The animations are good, and the battle scenes are also amazing; also it emotional scenes are very touching as well. It strikes a perfect balance of emotion, comedy and action! No discernible story line, but many highly entertaining arcs. Must watch!
