The first anime I ever watched and got me hooked on anime was Dragon Ball Z. The first episode I seen was Goku taking on the Ginyu Force. And ever since I been hooked. I also like Kenshin. But my anime of today is Naruto Shippuden, and Bleach if they continue it.

Full Metal Alchemist. It's where I got my start, and it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Angel Beats: Made me cry the most. Well written, loved it.
Sword Art Online: Just finished watching this, and my god was it ever fantastic.

i was hoping i wasnt the only one but it looks like i am lol. Eureka 7 and One Piece is my favorite anime but i would say i like One Piece more.

hmmm this is tough.
I would have to say my top 5 are:
5. Hellsing Ultimate because of the twisted and demented artistic style of the series. The visuals are almost always stunning, the characters are compelling and it keeps you coming back for more.
4. Gurren Lagann as far as I know this is generally considered a classic and if so its with good reason. Every character here is lovable and the main cast is the biggest reason to watch this show. Its scifi sensibilities are enough to pull anyone in.
3. Angel Beats because well multiple reasons the over all main plot felt kinda jumbled but somehow it works and the visuals are awesome but its Key anime so no shock there. The characters are MOSTLY great a few are forgettable. The Music now thats where this anime just shines it has the best music of any Key anime (known for good music) in fact in my oppinion any anime.
2. Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts (dub title) now this show takes a High School anime, Harem Anime, Yaoi Anime, Monster Summoner anime, and a Drama anime and smashes them all into one and to great effect. It is absolutely hilarious but still manages to be heart warming at time.
1. Clannad After Story now this takes number one spot for me because I think most people agree its a masterpeice in every sense of the word. Where as the Original Clannad barely breaks my top 15 due to its flaws (definetly the worst Key anime) Clannad took those flaws and smashed them like a bug. The anime has its funny moments but is over all extremely heart warming and at times a real tear jerker that will rip your heart out and stomp on it.

Keep in mind these are brief reasons why I love these 5 XD

Monster. Hand's down. The plot is so intricate and the characters are fantastic not to mention it has one of the sexiest anime guys. Looks AND crazy make for one hot man.
