Ouran High School Club is a must-watch too! Even though there are only 26 episodes(ep.26 not out yet but soon), it's a funny anime! There are lots more, watch every single one of them uploaded in here then!

Neon Genesis Evangelion - Complex story, biblical references, excellent artwork.

Vision of Escaflowne - Excellent shojo/shonen story with action/romance with great artowork.

King of Fighter Another Day ONA - Online only small series with great battles that resemble KOF games.

Anything from CLAMP. GONZO, or Studio Ghibli.

When i first got into animes, i watched nartuto, bleach, fma, etc etc.
But then, i saw Elfen lied, and i started to strongly dislike the tippical fighting anime, for it is as deep as my flat screen. Since the elfen lied revelation, i watched lots of series and concluded that the most memorable were the series that touched you deep inside, that left some kind of scar in your soul (omg i sound creepy). Anyway, i'm still kind of a noob (i have only watched 12 series for a total of 300 eps) but i think the best were:
Chobits (and god chi is kawaii...)
Elfen lied (who doesnt like seing lucy rape everyone?)
Karin (that was plain funny)
Beating-angel dokoru-chan (i love when she says pi piru piru piru pi piru pi lol)

Kenshin's also the reason why I became an anime freak That's why it's my most favorite series (I could watch its reruns anytime hahahha). My second favorite would be Escflowne, then almost all works of CLAMP :D

Right now I'm watching Ouran, xxxHoliC, TRC, Bokura ga Ita, Prince of Tennis and Marmalade Boy (hahaha). I'm planning to try Saiunkoku Monogatari, I heard it's great and funny :D

Please try watching Kaleido Star, it's my latest favorite - really cool and exciting series XD!

ive just started watching detective academy Q, really cool i recomend it. Also i advise to watch Naruto Dragonball and anything else that is about people with kick ass powers
