Why have the episodes been removed?

i hope cr wud have their very own funsubs.... i hope to view the other eps here since i can't view it from other sites. well, i do hope they'll come up of something to fix things up...

SARS-fansubs doesn't get paid for their fansubs ANYwhere, in the first place -- not even if you download it from them. If you mean ad revenue for pageviews, it'd still only be a fraction of their site maintainance costs

As previously mentioned, fansubbing is a LOT of work -- unpaid work at that-- and the teams' wishes should be respected. Be grateful for everything they've given you already! It's not even like the show is impossible to see now.
Is there a reason you just have to watch it streaming instead of downloading it from www.SARS-fansubs.com? If your connection is fast enough to watch streams it's definitely fast enough to transfer the files. The picture is better, and it lags less if your computer is running slowly (thus causing the lag).

In the past, the SARS-fansubs standard answer on streaming sites was lukewarm. They'd rather it be dowloaded (BT/IRC) from them, but if you were going to upload it at least credit them properly. Honey & Clover was not allowed because it was a joint project with LoveSong Productions, who never allow their media on streaming sites. From that forum post at d-addicts, it's clear Zettai Kareshi will not be allowed on CR, and SARS-fansubs are now on CR's "restricted fansub team" list. Hana-Kimi Japan hasn't been pulled down though. I think all these are recent changes, and it will become clearer once it settles down.

There is a reason that it's better to watch stuff streaming rather than downloading it: I am on a university connection and they will cut off my Internet access if they see me downloading large files.

Also, what if I don't have my own computer? What if I watch this at the library or the ITC? I don't think it's fair to demand downloading of everyone. I also don't want to have to deal with residual files even post-deletion; defragging my computer just because I want to watch Absolute Boyfriend is overkill.

My roommate's laptop has almost no memory, either; it takes her over three hours to download a PowerPoint presentation from school. She's not the only one; my old roommate had the same problem, and a lot of students in our university just use the computer labs in order to get some kind of reasonable Internet connection time.

What does this fansub group gain from having everyone download rather than just watch streaming, if it's free? I have the same question about BNS.

This is only part of the reason -- people randomly uploading episodes without giving us a heads up. Some proper etiquette goes a long way.

SARS isn't anti-CR, other dramas that we've subbed are still here.
SARS isn't super pissed off. If CR uploaders went through the proper channels to get a series uploaded here, I would not have a problem with it.
Most of what PandaThinks posted falls inline with how I view things and is based on the facts.
