Sakura is the most common name which means Cherry Blossoms... You can find those names on the show, Da Capo, Cardcaptor Sakura, Street fighters, and Lamune... Those are few examples

Aoi means blue from Ai Yori Aoshi and Myself;Yourself

Aka means red from the show, REC

Ichigo means strawberry or one from Bleach, and Onegai Teacher

Of course you know the meaning of Cloud from FFVII

Sekai means world from School Days

Sango means coral from To Heart 2

Yuuki Means Courage from Vampire Knight

kokoro means Heart from School Days

Basara = Tear, silk?
Hitomi = Eye/s
Kasumi = Something like 'Breeze'
Ichigo = Strawberry, "One who protects" according to the dub of Bleach..
Ranma = Wild horse
Saotome = 'like a girl'
Gosunkugi = 'five-inch nail'
But if we're basically just saying the meanings behind Japanese words it'll just go on and on, I think the thread was more looking for names like Trieze (13? French) from Gundam Wing or Squall from Final Fantasy 8, a squall being like, a mini-storm if I'm thinking correctly.
