Well, I heard somewhere 60% is body language, 30% tone. And the words is the last 10%.

I had to learn about this for interviewing people so yeah... you guys give WAYY to much credit to words..



It is estimated that 85 % to 93% of the message that the other person picks up about us has little to do with the actual words they hear coming from our lips

Neither actions nor words necessarily tell us anything about an individual. What seems like a selfless offer of help from someone to you could easily be a way of putting you in his debt for future gain.

The truth is that we can't really be certain of who other people are because we can't know their thoughts, and there are many people who try to suppress their own thoughts with others to the point where they don't even know themselves anymore.
