The Western world (no offence) seems to think they're on top of the world and hey, that is true in many ways. However, I still find one idea VERY strange...okay, I find it NASTY and VERY STUPID. *Sigh* How is it that people use washrooms i.e. the toilets without using water to clean after themselves!? Toilet paper? TOILET PAPER?! I find that relying on a piece of paper is utterly unsanitary. (And I'm mostly referring to public washrooms as I wouldn't know how people clean themselves at home...but I can only assume...). Oh, and I've been to a developing country and it HAD little water hoses in the washrooms. A VERY SIMPLE INTELLIGENT THOUGHT! Durr...

Little children love playing with water you know.

Can you imagine where (some) people have put that 'little' water hose?

And besides, you would need something to dry yourself right? You arent just gonna sit there and wait for it to dry....

For those of you who don't understand:

The thread starter shows his point of view on how we, the people today, don't consider sanitations important.

He demonstrates this sentiment by refusing to wipe his asshole with toilet paper, but instead cleansing with water injected from a hose.

~~~
Pointless.
Toilet Paper was used by Americans a long time ago, since the 1600's. It's already been one of the basics of personal hygene.
Yeah, what about it?
Also, we do have the so-called "Sink".
And if you're talking about Public Restrooms, then there's sure to be a sink, with a handwashing soap around it.
uhhh... *yawn*
Ahahaha...I didn't mean that you disregard the toilet paper. I just meant you USE water, then DRY yourself after. It makes more sense. I mean, if you had your sauce splattered all over your mouth and it's all greasy, would you just wipe it with a towel/napkin? And I apologise for my poor forum skills, lol! I'm new at this.
^ So you mean we should do whatever we need to do then walk over to the sink, somehow get the water to clean ourselves, then go wipe our butts? O.o
PS Do developing countries really have little hoses to spray water at them in the bathroom?
I don't think this kind of topic is appropriate. You see? It's their privacy so I don't think this is good.
Yes there are washrooms with hoses next to the toilets. I mean there should be "hoses" or people should uh...carry water with them from the sink. That's all. And I don't think this topic is unappropriate as I'm discussing sanitary means...
