Silva has a hella-kick!
Ya I guess in a way I'm proud of my injuries when I get them. While Im fighting, I dont let myself feel things y'now? Only later I realize ..man, I really got hurt! I went to the gym tonight to train, but when my trainer saw the hematoma he said I shouldnt spar, but he wanted me to work out (cardio) because as it turns out, he got my fight set up! (exciting!) Also he said that if I dont work out the bad leg, that bruise could turn into a giant knot! (not good) So, (get this) I worked out doing Capoiera (sp?) to music ("zoom zoom zoom") for 90 min! whew.. it was fun! (I always kinda scoffed at the art, but it's really pretty cool!)
Anyway, I do very often fight much bigger opponents. Reason being, there are very few women in competitive MMA, and frankly, even in TKD Iv always had a lack of opponents! So stuck training with bigger faster younger stronger opponents! Which only makes me better I guess! (CHA!) Every time I get to spar with another woman I slaughter them!
Ug getting kicked in the head is my nightmare! It really the only thing Im scared of! (I just ordered a real, steel enforced kick boxing helmet at least!) At least it seems that it really made you view the art a different way that in the end made you better! Thats what its all about huh!? Oh.. getting kicked in the neck is my other nightmare. It happened to me while sparing at my blue belt test. AWFUL! (did I post about that b4? )

well i'm sure it does! I do too..unless i'm training with the kids, then i'm the big guy and i gotta watch my control. I like capoiera it's pretty fun.. two weeks ago I was playing it in the park by myself lol.. there were alot of onlookers but hey I had fun..

wait so your saying it's good to work out a bruise leg..so it wont turn into a knot? sounds interesting.. and best of luck on the game plan ^^

recent training plan 9/08/08

monday to friday
2 to three hours training

some days i train extra hard.. every other day I train normal
but i like using how technique works in a situation,,

every day jog regular with walking forwards, backwards, and dodging while throwing combos..
i tel you its fun .. what i did from library to home..
i dodge, bob and weave parking machines, and lights, and signs.. i also hit them.. but i gotta watch out for cops, and showing off too much =)

every other day hit the bag... a homemade teardrop bag for my knees, elbows, jabs, kicks, and anything close quarter..
and also my standup back.
atacking direct and indirectly.. like ..an uppercut from a different angle..
focus mitthitting with the kids or w/ friends, and family..

train with kids around my old schools park.. practice grappling with my dummy
and balls lol imitate movements.
ground work.. hitting, and agressive guard.. very very important

every other day hit my homemade mook yan jong, and tree bag.

everyday practice sim lam tao, chum kui, biu jee.
find time to circle walk, and shadow box, and work my movements from taichiform, and kickboxing into grappling,
sounds like alot? no its not.

i have two ways of shadow boxing..
one on one.. with my shadow or reflection.
and the other is multiple opponents,,
i learned if you cant move how will you be able to take action..
taichi, bagua, and even what i love to research.. like bajiquan) helps propel, or defend.. bajiquan's burst is so fast sometimes its o difficult to breathe, but it will help into my stamina..

with pl i spar .. with equipment or not.. but mostly friemndly..
i even use my schools playground and hit the poles.., and boxing.
with the kids we share ..and also play circle of fire and ten man count

hit then run, hit then run. run dash, sprint, and een go uphils

move gotta kep moving never give up.. all that movement will become instinct..
its my secret weapon .. gotta keep going

well i've still yet to take up Judo, so it's just jogging everyday, and table tennis(my sport)/tennis/any random sport when i have the chance..

eating right, no carbonated beverages, sweets on occasions, no caffeine(that means laying off the coffee, so studying's pretty much WILL POWER), etc.

oh yeah! first aid kit in room @ all times, first aid skills ready to go @ all times!! hehe (S.O.P. for athletes)

With a Recommendation of a friend this is what we come up.

Warm up (5 mins):
1. Head: moving up and down, left and right, full circle (x12 times each)
2. Shoulders: circle in front (x12 times) circle in back (x12 times)
3. Elbows: in circle (x12 times) both sides
4. Hips: move his in circle (x12 times) both sides
5. Hips: moves to left and right (x12 times)
6. Then you should move your upper body to back and then you should move upper body down (your hands should be behind your legs) your look should be in front of you and your spine straight
7. Move your knees in circles (x12 times each side)
8. Then (i think word is) squat (x12 times) your spine must be straight
9. Feet: move your feet in circle, walk on heel, walk on fingers

Exercis (25 mins):
1st day x4: onbination of x4 squat, x4 push ups and x4 (dunno word so i will explain) you lay on ground on your backs and you should move your abdomen to your feet
Repeat all this 5 times
2nd day x5......till x10 times....then after you reach x10 times you should lessen and come to x4 times. And then everything start from beginning
----All this every morning and night(after I got my cardio gets back to notch, Ty Tsunade) I did lots of soccer and long distance running competitions for years so it only takes few weeks to get back.

After i get comfortable with this, I am going to need more than this because to be frank all i got in my house to my disposal is the floor and mirrors(thankyou Ninja for advice, I'm working on it but its tricky with migraines lol).

Well, this is my training menu for now and thankyou very much Tsunade and Ninja for you advices.

i got a kid i train which hate to shadowbox.. so he has a telephone pole near his house..
maybe you gotta find a way to hit targets. cuz its good to use the mirror to perfect the stance, and find leaks, and imagination..
but nothing beats hitting something or using tools, or ppl.
do yu have any ideas to help improve your regimen, Mr.77?

hmmm, other than increase it as much as possible in time, i would be
-run on uneven ground so that my legs get used to balance.
-do lots of meditation and breathing exercises
-try to not think of the cute chick in my class
-buy ankle and wrist weights and hopefully the vest weight among others(so dann expensive though >.<)
-unwind the stick part of my sweeping broom and get comfortable using it whichever comfortable.
-chase squirrels, cats an birds(speed and agility)
-watch animal planet or youtube and see how animals move and learn from them.
-really really try to not to get distracted by the cute chick in my class
-try swimming
-try to go to school gym(scary muscley ppl >.<)
-eat more
-sleep more
-punching and kicking exercises

I think shadowboxing with a mirror helps alot too.. slow motion, then increasing to full speed. It can perfect punching and bob n weave.
