Dun think there will be animation since they ended that way. But author's giving some path for new storylines because no one was out of that school yet and the yellow hair coach's 2nd school disciples are not out yet~
Btw, not only that girl, but I saw 1 more new character when they aired the ending song. Though, its quite possible the manga will continue -.-

there is a trivia in bamboo blade that hints that there may be a second season

well the manga is still on-going so i guess there will be a second season .

Well... Bamboo Blade manga still going on...meanwhile they also released Bamboo Blade B manga -same time era but this time in different high school- and the ending of 26th ep shows hints of new episodes.
So I highly expect new season, episodes as well as characters and side stories from Bamboo Blade B... We will see what will happend :D
Meanwhile it was last years one of the great animes for me
