Everyone has the right to like what they like. You don't have the right to say that.

And that's my last input. Gnight

about that anime watching is all about experience. i mean if he saw only how ever many on the list. err... i wouldnt say list more like a scribble then he hasnt even seen the whole plots or story lines behind an anime.

You talk about it like anime watching is some kinda art. Anime is anime. It's something you watch. You watch anime. Anime, you watch. Y-O-U W-A-T-C-H A-N-I-M-E. That's all.

The real issue is that he tries to force his opinions onto other people. Simple.

And another thing. You guys say crap like "oh they only watch anime on adult swim and Cartoon Network." Well so what? Doesn't make it any less of an anime. I like FLCL, one of my 2 favorite animes, and I saw it first on adult swim. Oh that's just so wrong. It's not true anime if it's on adult swim? ANIME is ANIME. And it's so stupid for you guys to make such a big deal out of it. It's just a detailed cartoon.

Exactly though, and I will quote from you.
"You watch anime. Anime, you watch. Y-O-U W-A-T-C-H A-N-I-M-E. That's all."

He didn't watch those, therefore he can't put that judgement upon those specific anime titles.

And I think I said that he does try to force his opinions on others. My main point was that many of you over exaggerate the whole anime watching concept, which you do. So I would appreciate it if you didn't try to change the meanings of my words and such.

Well, I was just going by the old fashion statement "Don't judge a book by it's cover", although I do realize everyone does. He doesn't really have a right to say that the other anime is a "rejection" or etc, until he took his time to look at the other side of his opposition. It's the basics with any debate.
Although he doesn't see it as a debate at all, and only tries to force his idea to others. Which I agree with you on that fact.

Lol, okay. So I think we reached an agreement then.

My main issue wasn't what her brother said. I just found it awkward how this dude thought anime watching was some kinda fancy shmancy crap.

I agree. Theres a lot more out there than whats on Swim. I actually started watching movie online first and then when I stumbled upon Adult Swim one day I was sort of disappointed by the lack of variety they had . I'm happy I don't know any one like that.

The word "nega." Tell me what you think that means.

I'm sorry if I don't like the word because it sounds like "nigga" which derives from the word "nigger" which is what African-Americans like me were called before they were whipped and slapped.

A. Hayao Miyazaki isn't just famous because of how many movies he created, all directors are famous for the amazing literature, motifs, etc they put into the film.

B. Is that ALL he watches???? It has no variety to them and not to mention the art itself is crap. And I'm pretty sure most or all of them are licensed and dubbed...=.= If he only watches licensed and dubbed crap......then he can't really rate anything as it is.....I've seen a few of the series he considers 'good'....and in my opinion, DN got really boring (though I only read the manga...), Yu yu Hakusho is your typical shonen/supernatural series with completely old style art (which I have nothing against..I just don't like it ...>.>'''), and Cowboy Bebop...I haven't really seen much of it and I can't really condemn it for only watching one ep or else I'll be a hypocrite (and the dubbed version no less) but I've seen the art......and I'm a person who watches most series for the art...and it's, once again, OLD STYLE. (though most old series are typically legends)

so tell him just simply this: WATCH MORE BEFORE RATING. I'm probably younger than him...and I've already seen more variety than him.

oh and if he keeps on annoying you while you watch stuff, just wear headphones. xDDDDDD

you wrote too much as if u know whats the meaning all of the word you wrote duh?? dont be so pessimisic ur such a nega....

You're in no position to tell someone what they can and cannot do. You use racist terms.

oh yeah and whos not?? dont take it too serously,,,, whats the racist term there?? i didnt used slang word fufufufu...=p

The word "nega." Tell me what you think that means.

I'm sorry if I don't like the word because it sounds like "nigga" which derives from the word "nigger" which is what African-Americans like me were called before they were whipped and slapped.

ohohoho i thought so u would think that,,, i forgot the word TIVE to make the word NEGATIVE sigh...

Oh of course you did. Right. Yeah.

Bring that to someone who actually accepts ur BS. Hon, unfortunately I've had the discomfort of dealing with chicks worse than you, and you'd think that at 20 you'd be out of the phase, but I guess girls like you always stay brats. Beauty's only skin deep, babe.

Anyway, I'm outta here. I seen enough of girls like you to last a life time, and I don't come here to deal with wannabe-cute liars such as yourself. I come here to debate with actually smart people.

Goodbye.

It's just a detailed cartoon.

watching anime is a art or more like a skill if u cant grasp a anime plot then u dont even no what the anime is even about

..Great =_=

Watching anime is not an art, and I dunno who fed you that crap. You don't have to know this and that to watch anime, DUH. You have eyes. You watch the screen. Oh yeah, real art there.
