yeah vampire knight will definately get liscenced btw, shinji has to remove liscensed animes because the companies that liscense the animes ask him 2 do it. if he refuses, crunchyroll will get shut down

I also believe that Vampire Knight will get licensed, it's adequate good. However it does exist many other anime websites that do upload licensed animes (which you probably know).

i think its really silly that the companies want to license their animes.
i mean, if they lincensed it, LESS people will be able to watch & support it.
i'd rather they DONT licensed at, SO WHAT if its illegal??
at least they know that this particular anime has supporters...
this does not apply to Vampire Knight only
but most of the animes that i really love
&got license.
license companies suck.

i actually want to see it Dubbed. ^^ but the Jap will always own.

Yes. Out of all the animes I'm watching, Vampire Knight has the highest chance of being licensed (Meh...but I stopped watching a longgg time ago).

To all of those who go "Why does it have to be licensed?"

Animes get licensed if it's popular. Fans make it popular (I guess in a way, it's the fans' fault but I'm not putting the blame on anyone because this is just the way they do it). They know that fans will buy the DVD because it's so popular. They make money out of licensing animes. If they license the not as popular animes, it won't sell as well. If you're thinking "Why do the Japanese get to watch it for free then?" I'm not entirely sure but I think they indirectly pay for it by taxes. If the Japanese DO watch it for free, well, life's not always fair. If you right some sort of complaint about that to the company, they won't do anything. Personal morals don't matter in the business world.

Random fact:

Did you know that fansubbing is illegal even if they anime hasn't been licensed yet? It is a violation of copyright. The point is, companies can stop the fansubbing of an anime whenever they want to, even if it's not licensed. This usually doesn't happen (although recently it has with Reborn!, Nabari no Ou and Monochrome Factor) as the Japanese companies are nice and let people sub until it's licensed. So you should feel LUCKY that you even get to watch the first season of Vampire Knight. If the Japanese weren't nice, they could've stopped the fansubs after episode 1.

Just some facts for you guys to ease it up if VK ever gets licensed.

/end rant.
