I believe that Season One has a better plot line rather than Season Two, however...seeing as I haven't finished SM season two, I can't really judge it. |

I liked the first season better because it had more humourous parts than the second. It seems like the animators are trying to wrap up Saiunkoku Monogatari which doesn't make the second season as humourous as the first but seeing as we haven't watched all the episodes of the second season I can't really judge it really well... |

I love both seasons, but I think season 1 is much better because it tells a story of an independent young lady Shūrei and all her dreams and accomplishments. And its the start of her relationship with Ryūki.
