juz realise, isnt the topic title be "Migration or Immigration" instead? coz Emmigration means migrating INto Singapore 'stead of OUT of Singapore....i juz learnt this last wk hehe...

To answer the ques, nopex and nv planned to, i have no idea why its been like this since i started sec 1, probably due to my sch building this "Sense of Belonging" in all the students...hm....though i still consider studying overseas but i'm definitely coming back...Singapore needs more local ppl working, if not all the places are going to be taken by foreigners DX

Immigration - the process of entering another country in order to live there permanently.
Emigrate - to leave your own country in order to live in another country
Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English

I concede though that i made a spelling error.. there's only supposed to be one 'm' in emigration. ^^
Migration is the broad category enveloping both immigration and emigration. it involves the movement of a person or persons across a border to set up a residence for more than a year.
