Let's take a minute of silence for general cross. He was a great character. He may have died. Me may have not. This, we will find out soon. After all, its not until the fat lady sings.

I'm willing to bet that Cross died. And if he didn't, he will eventually in the near future.

Believe you me, I don't like the idea any more than you D.gray man fans out there do, but Cross being dead is a 70-85% chance of being true.

How do I know this? It's because in ANY book/series thats an action/adventure based genre has a theme to it where the teacher must die after passing on most (if not all) of his/her knowledge to his/her student.
-Examples: Harry Potter, Cirque Du Freak, Naruto, Eragon, Claymore, Rave Master, Etc.

However, i am hoping that he don't dies..
after all he has great power and plays an important roles.

i really don't think Cross is dead, i think he still has a major role to play... he'll probably appear again when ppl least expect him to... well, who knows?

i don't think he's dead... he wouldn't die then sudenly disapear like that..... he's bound to pop up in a siguation like the first time he did!!!

Same here I don't think he dead, Link was sent to kill him, but to kill off Cross after just introducing him as a proper charther after only one arc, as well we all saw the fight with Tyki when he went crazy, he was complete outclassed so was the Lvl 4, personal him to die in such a "manner" has to be a plan to save Allen from the chopping blook, because he still on the edge of being classified a hertic and being well done in, or find a way to control the Mana brother the 14th.
