i liked princess mononoke, spirited away, and naacissica, but I just didn't get howls moving castle, waaaaaaaaaaaaay too confusing. I liked kikis deliveryservice and castle in the sky too, hate to admit it. I never had the guts to watch my neighbor totoro, however. I prefer to keep my brain and soul intact.

Why? I've never heard of the movie? Is it freaky or something?

no, its really cute, theres just not a ton of depth, its about childhood and life in general. me and my aunt watch it all the time, we have miyazaki fests, and she's in her 40's

I really like Hayao Miyazaki because he makes anime films that truly capture what I love about anime: a deep and interesting stroy.
At first I only saw ones like Howl and Kiki but one time I rented Princess Mononoke a long time ago and now that I think about it that may have been one of the first animes I ever watched. I have to say Princess Mononoke is my most favorite. I have seen some others when Turner Classic Movie Channel(My dad works for Comcast so I get movie channels like Stars and Encore for almost free. ) and Cartoon Network had a Hayao Miyazaki Month a year or two ago. I wanted to see Naussica and Castle in the Sky when it was on Toonami but the taping messed up I didn't get to see them.

Where did you see that? I didn't see that. Don't go getting my hopes up for nothing.

I LOVED Howl's Moving Castle.. mostly because it had a happy ending. Princess Mononoke was good too I guess ^_^

Hayao Miyazaki is my fkn idol for animated pictures, directing...doesn't make sense..

I respect him so much for his zomg skills and I love his work. zomgg
All his work brings so much thought to me as the audience and also creates powerful emotions as well. Basically he is fkn good zomg I can't stop raving on about how good he is but I really have nothing else to say.
Should watch Howls Moving Castle some time soon = ="

I think Spirited away and Howls Moving Castle were my favorites. I haven't seen "Kiki's Delivery Service" in years so I can't remember how it would measure up.
