I hope you can help me. I ran into another problem. I was trying to download the Jpns drama, "Good Luck". There is a problem with the download for episodes 6 and 10. I tried to download a second time, thinking that I had done something wrong, but those 2 episodes still will not "play" on Windows Media Player. The other episodes are fine. It's only these 2 that have a problem.

What happens next? Can this problem be fixed? Can I download these episodes for free the next time since it will be the 3rd time?

Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.

This sucks, cause I still had a good 1-2 weeks left of downloading time, I am pretty sure. Then downloads went down due to bandwidth now I have no time left anymore with 2.76 GB's left that I could be downloading with. Ah well, nothing I can do I guess

What kind of files are the downloaded vids? Would I be able to put them on a disc to watch on a dvd player?

The files for download are in whatever format that they were uploaded as (standard computer video formats). So if you take the files and convert the files to be able to play on a standard DVD player, then it'll work.

If you don't know much about converting files or anything, you're out of luck.

Dear Brokedude,

There is software available that does convert computer video files to DVD files that you can then burn onto a disc for your private library. Normally, the computer files are avi files and sometimes rmvb files. You need to find out what format they are in and whether the software handles those formats. Make sure you have enough space on your hard drive because when they convert into DVD format, they can be big (eg. 4-9 GB). Some of the programs can "shrink" this to fit a standard 4.7 GB disc or 8.5 GB dual layer disc. You can't always go by the file size to figure out if you have enough space on a disc, since you always need a "buffer" zone when burning it onto a disc.

My problem was that only 2 out of the 10 avi files were not playable on my player. They were all from the same source, so that was why I was wondering if the files were either corrupted or missing part of the code that made the others playable. I was wondering if they could correct the files, and so...

Shinji doesn't sell anime, he's selling the ability to direct download videos that he hosts. Basically, he's selling bandwidth.
There's nothing wrong with it.

Do i have to donate to watch a program or is it free, cause i'm broke.

Also what does it 0 mbsx ( i have no idea what it's called) then under neath it is says expired?

so, if i download a program, then i just have to open my window media to watch it right?

How much memory do you recommending needing on the computer in order to watch the programs/videos/music video...

I'm sorry for these question if they bother you, i'm not that good with computers, it's a miracle that i don't have a virus on this computer yet.
Thanks for helping me, when you do.

rhynny - they get free stars I believe, and oh the power! the power!!! MUAHAHA

levine112003 -
1) You do no have to donate to watch videos. You do need flash player however, avaiable for dl here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
2) Some videos you can watch in higher resolution if you donate though. "0.00 MegaBytes" Refers to your download quota. If it shows 0.00, then you can't download anything.
3) Not much memory is needed at all. I recommend over 128mb however for this day and age. My next system in 6th months or so will probably have 2gigs of ram.

Any more computer questions feel free to post in the help thread, or pm me or Gev (for the more technical stuff).

Hello, I'm pretty new to this site so I apologize if this is a silly question...

I was just wondering how the drama series/movie videos that I can download (for a price) are in terms of quality compared to the gigantic files I can get off of Bittorrent? Are these the same originals people get off of Bittorrent, or re-encoded "lesser quality" versions?

I only ask this because if they are the originals, this site would save me a ton of time downloading stuff from Bittorrent, and I would happily donate to this cause
